The Master of Mathematical Sciences (Financial Mathematics) will equip you with a range of analytic, modeling, statistical and computational skills that can be applied directly to the financial sector, as well as the broader business landscape.
In your first year, you will study core preparation and foundational subjects in areas such as multivariate and vectoir calculus, differential equations, statistical inference and model building, and managerial finance. From your second year, you will also study advanced topics and investigations in these areas, as well as having the opportunity to complete cross-disciplinary subjects in other fields where mathematics and statistics are critical, such as engineering, health, and computer science.
