The Master of Landscape Architecture (MLA) is our accredited professional degree. An accredited professional degree is required to become a licensed landscape architect in the state of Minnesota and throughout the United States. The MLA program introduces students to the practice and discipline of landscape architecture, providing them with the ecological, artistic, technical, and communication skills necessary to practice in the profession and in other environmental fields. How to apply
Entry requirements for University of Minnesota - Twin Cities
Baccalaureate degree in arts, humanities, sciences, environmental studies, or engineering.
A GPA greater than 3.0 [on 4.0 scale] is preferred.
Two (2) statements (personal and diversity).
Three (3) letters of recommendation. We strongly encourage you to submit two (2) letters from faculty members who are familiar with your academic work.
International Applicants must submit TOEFL scores from one of the four English language tests. You must have a minimum score of 600 [TOEFL paper], 86 [TOEFL internet], 6.5 [IELTS test]
