About the course
There's demand for health professionals who can incorporate both clinical and cultural aspects when working with Māori. Study the AUT Master of Health Practice in Māori Health degree to further your career in Māori health. The Master of Health Practice in Māori Health is designed for health professionals with at least three years of clinical experience. You can select courses that reflect your career needs and interests. The Māori Health specialisation works ly with Taupua Waiora, the Centre for Māori Health Research, which focuses on improving Māori health and reducing inequalities of outcome between non-Māori and Māori. Entry requirements for Auckland University of Technology
Must have completed the following or equivalent:
Relevant bachelor’s degree
Relevant graduate diploma
Relevant professional qualification
AND
At least three years of relevant professional experience
Staircasing options from the Postgraduate Certificate in Health Science or Postgraduate Diploma in Health Science are also available.
