About the course

The Master of Fine Arts with a focus in Sound Design is a highly individualized course of study with an emphasis on hands-on, practical production work. Each student has great flexibility beyond the required core courses to focus on personal needs and development as a theatre artist. The department's wide variety of produced events provides exposure to a range of production styles and both technical and artistic challenges. The program seeks to balance the technological nature of modern sound design and the artistry of human communication and traditional story telling. Entry requirements for University of Cincinnati

Obtaining a bachelor’s or master’s degree (3.2 minimum GPA) from an English-speaking university, or a passing score of level 112 at an English Language School (ELS).
