About the course
The diversity of the School of Art programs, the quality of instruction, and the professional caliber of its faculty all combine to provide an exceptional opportunity and challenge to students seeking meaningful educational experiences and careers in the visual arts.The School of Art may request projects completed by students for class credit be retained by the School of Art for a short, specified period for the purposes of promotion and exhibition. Graduate applications are reviewed within the School of Art by appropriate faculty. The admissions process for all graduate programs is highly competitive, and only those applicants who are recommended by the reviewing faculty may be admitted. Applicants are admitted as either Classified or Conditionally Classified. A Classified Graduate Student has been recommended for admission, and has satisfied all prerequisites. Entry requirements for California State University - Long Beach
Official sealed transcripts, mailed directly from all previous universities or colleges to Enrollment Services (send to the address provided through the Cal State Apply website), Any additional materials as requested by the university. A list of undergraduate coursework and grades received. Two letters of recommendation. You will enter email addresses for your recommenders through Slideroom. They will be contacted and will upload their recommendations directly to Slideroom. Portfolio of 20 images of your studio work (see image requirements below)
