About the course

The multidisciplinary Master of Environment will provide you with the skills and knowledge you?ll need to evaluate the social and biophysical drivers of environmental change, so that as a graduate, you?ll be equipped to seek innovative solutions to issues emerging around human?environment interactions.

　　The Master of Security and Strategic Studies will prepare you to analyse contemporary security, defence and strategic challenges. You?ll learn about the dynamics behind major geopolitical and geostrategic issues, and about multidimensional non-traditional security challenges, and you?ll extend your knowledge of analytical methods to evaluate strategic choices, and the evolution of Australia?s interests and strategy. How to apply

Entry requirements for Macquarie University

Master of Environment

　　AQF level 7 bachelor's qualification in a related field or recognised equivalent, and foundation knowledge and skills in using Geographic Information Systems (GIS),

　　or

　　AQF level 7 bachelor's qualification or recognised equivalent, and approved work experience, professional certification or other recognised prior learning, and foundation knowledge and skills in using Geographic Information Systems (GIS),

　　or

　　AQF level 7 bachelor's qualification or recognised equivalent with a WAM of 65, and foundation knowledge and skills in using Geographic Information Systems (GIS).

　　Master of Security and Strategic Studies

　　AQF level 8 bachelor honours or graduate diploma qualification in a related field or recognised equivalent, or

　　Meet two of the following three criteria:

　　AQF level 7 bachelor's qualification in a related field or recognised equivalent

　　Minimum two years relevant approved work experience at senior management level, professional certification or other recognised prior learning

　　AQF level 7 bachelor's qualification or recognised equivalent with a WAM of 65
