About the course

　　The Department hosts the Software Engineering Research and Applications Lab, and offers students projects in areas such as mobile and web applications, cyber security, computer graphics, route mapping, computer vision applications, and technology evaluation and assessment.Aotearoa New Zealand has a shortage of software engineers with local firms often recruiting overseas. Technical expertise, good communication, and teamwork skills – all strong features of UC graduates – are prized by employers. Software Engineering is a widely applicable discipline not only needed in software development companies, but also where products involve significant amounts of software.
