The Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering’s Master of Engineering degree is designed to develop new understanding through professional development, problem solving and creativity. Areas of specialization within the program include subject matter related to environmental and natural resources, food engineering, bioprocess engineering, biomaterials science, machine and energy systems, systems analysis along with food, feed and fiber processing.

GRE test scores are required for all applicants.
Submit transcripts from all colleges or universities attended. Official transcripts are required from each post-secondary university or college attended. An official statement of the award of the degree or diploma is required for each degree completed. College work from one institution posted on the transcript of another institution will not be accepted.
GRE Verbal Reasoning score of at least 146 (Subject to departmental approval), a GMAT Verbal Score of at least 22 (Subject to departmental approval).
Completing all years of a Bachelor's degree or higher at a U.S. accredited university. (Subject to departmental approval).
TOEFL - 550 for paper-based testing (p-BT) or 80 internet-based testing (i-BT). A minimum IELTS score of 6.0 overall band.
