This specialisation is suitable if you want to change careers or gain formal accounting qualifications that are recognised by industry, and it's not necessary to have any prior accounting qualifications. By completing the relevant courses, you can achieve the necessary prerequisites for associate membership of the key Australian accounting professional bodies: Certified Practising Accountants Australia (CPA) and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ). How to apply

Entry requirements for The University of Queensland

Bachelor degree or equivalent in the same discipline as approved by the Executive Dean with a GPA of at least 4.50 on a 7 point scale.

　　Field of Study: For students who have previously undertaken studies in business or commerce, entry will only be considered for a field not already studied (some exceptions may apply to accounting). IELTS: Overall Band Score of 6.5 AND a minimum score of 6 in each sub-band of Writing, Reading, Speaking and Listening. TOEFL (Internet-Based-iBT): Overall score 87 with a Writing score of 21 and Reading, Speaking and Listening scores of 19. TOEFL (Paper-based): Overall score of 570 and a minimum score of 5.0 in the Test of Written English (TWE) and 54 in Listening and Reading.
