The two-year-long curriculum is designed for those students who have completed a four-year, pre-professional degree in architecture. The 3.5-year long curriculum is designed for those students who have not completed a pre-professional degree in architecture. You will be asked to provide the email contact information for 3 recommenders. Your recommenders will receive an automated email asking that they complete an online letter of recommendation for you. a copy of your transcript from each college attended since high school to be uploaded with your application (These may be unofficial copies. If admitted, you will be required to provide official copies.) The School of Architecture does not set minimums for the GRE, but the average among our students is relatively high. Admission to graduate study in the School of Architecture is competitive and based upon merit as evidenced in the applicant’s previous academic performance, GRE and/or TOEFL scores, portfolio, and other supporting documentation. TOEFL Minimum Score Required: Paper-based: 600, Internet-based: 100, with minimum section scores of 19.
Entry Requirements for Master of City and Regional Planning:
We look for master's degree students who will successfully advance the quality of life in communities through planning work after graduation. Excellence in prior academic work is essential, but priority is given to applicants who have demonstrated effectiveness as leaders, analysts and/or designers in previous paid or volunteer settings.
A 3.0/4.0 undergraduate GPA and a 3.5/4.0 master’s degree GPA if applicable. Graduate Record Examination (GRE) Scores of 150 for Verbal Reasoning, 148 for Quantitative Reasoning, and 4.0 Analytical Writing. TOEFL iBT Scores, if applicable, with a minimum of 100. TOEFL pbt: 600.
