Provides students with the skills and knowledge to think strategically when it comes to social and digital media. Confidence and competence in digital and social media is crucial for all marketing industry professionals, and those who own or manage a small to medium business. This specialisation is designed in consultation with industry, so students become proficient in the application of digital marketing technologies relevant to their careers. Students participate in a range of projects which include developing a social media marketing plan, and learning about digital analytics, Search Engine Optimisation, and artificial intelligence. These skills can be applied to the development of new products and strategic marketing plans to assist in organisational success. Contemporary issues facing marketing practitioners in today's local and global marketplace are also addressed so graduates are world ready.
