Provides digital and business analytic competencies so students have sufficient technical skills and understanding required by firms to generate insights into structured and unstructured data. This concentration focuses on data management, decision-making support, qualitative and quantitative analysis, applied technology and mobile delivery. The concentration can be completed entirely online.
Courses are categorized based upon understanding the principles associated with digital/business analytics, gaining skill utilizing insight generation tools and delivering the content to the end-user or decision maker. Before any student can be considered for admission to graduate study, the following must be submitted to the Office of Graduate Admissions: A completed online Application for Graduate Admission and an official transcript from any college or university at which a bachelor's degree was earned. A transcript is considered official only if it is sent directly from the institution where the course work was completed and bears an official seal. International applicants are expected to submit additional documentation for regular admission. Note: The applicant is also responsible for arranging to take any examinations that may be specified by the Office of Graduate Admissions, the College, or the Department in which the student intends matriculation.
If you are applying to a master's program, your minimum undergraduate GPA must be 2.75 or its equivalent in upper division coursework.
Students who have earned a grade of 3.00 ('B') or higher in an undergraduate course that is compatible with BA 6005 and the prior course was taken within the last three years from an AACSB accredited college or university. These students must also have quantitative GMAT/GRE scores higher than the 50th percentile.
Students who are Finance or Accounting majors from an AACSB accredited US or Canadian university, have obtained a g.p.a of 3.00 or higher in the major, and have graduated in the last two years.
