About the course

The MA in Musicology with Performance (project option) is intended for musicology students who are proficient performers and want to continue serious study of their instrument. The program is modelled on the MA in Musicology, but reduces the seminar requirement to accommodate performance activities. The program culminates in a dual-purpose capstone project including a lecture recital and a related research paper.

How to apply

Entry requirements for University of Victoria - Kaplan

Completion of a 4-year bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) from an institution recognized by UVic.

　　Equivalent of a minimum “B” average over the last two years of your degree, Any requirements specific to your program of study.

　　IELTS - 6.5, TOEFL - 90 along with score at least 20 points each in the listening, speaking, reading and writing sections.
