About the course
York offers an MA, an MSc and a PhD in Mathematics & Statistics. In addition, we have a part-time MA program in Mathematics for Teachers, open to teachers interested in upgrading their mathematical skills and experience.
Our programs are dedicated to the exploration and development of new ideas in mathematics and statistics, and to fostering an understanding, appreciation and utility of those ideas. Our one-year MA program consists of a set of core courses based on an area of specialization in pure math, applied math, probability, statistics or applied statistics. Students also complete additional elective courses, as well as a survey paper and courses or a thesis. Scholarships - View all scholarships Internships
