About the course
The MA Global Policy degree is a two-year Master?s program consisting of 33 credits that is open to students with a bachelor?s degree or its equivalent. An undergraduate international policy degree is not essential for admission. SPIA is much more concerned with an applicant?s capacity for graduate study, demonstrated by the quality of previous academic work and professional experience, and their commitment to an international career. However, applicants must exhibit research ability, have a strong foundation in economics, and demonstrate competence in a second language. Students may choose a concentration in either Environmental Policy, Security and Foreign Policy, Trade and Commerce, or Climate Policy. This climate policy graduate program provides students an interdisciplinary gateway into one of the most pressing international political challenges ever faced by humanity. Students in this concentration will focus their studies on the multidimensional social, political, technical and scientific issue of climatic change. Students will participate in an interdisciplinary mix of courses that combine international affairs and policy studies with climate science and social theory. The major emphasis will be on an in-depth understanding of the policy process for climate mitigation and adaptation. Scholarships - View all scholarships Internships
