There is a palpable excitement in the shops as students explore wood as a primary means of personal expression. Artist/goal statement (one page) articulating the subject matter and artistic content of the applicant's work as well as professional goals
Two letters of recommendation. These letters should be written by professional artists or educators in the arts with whom the applicant has recently studied or worked and who can assess the applicant's studio and scholastic competencies.
A PDF of twenty images representing the applicant's professional artistic work. Each image should be numbered and identified by medium, size, and date of completion.
Applicants must have a minimum cumulative undergraduate grade-point average (GPA) of 2.6 (on a 4.0 scale) if their bachelor’s degree was earned five or fewer years ago. If earned more than five years ago, the minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.4 (on a 4.0 scale) is required. The degree must be earned from a regionally accredited institution.
