About the course
Specialise in Applied Management with a major in your chosen discipline NMIT offers a Master of Applied Management pathway qualification. This qualification can be completed full time over 15 months, or part-time over a longer period. Students are required to complete 4 core papers, plus 2-4 (60 credits) elective courses and a research project/thesis. As specialisation continues to dominate the rapidly changing world economy, an enlightened model of management is emerging in response. This new style of management calls for people of sharp mind who can discover what makes a person tick and amplify this to drive productivity in socially responsible ways. Effective management responds to the needs of people, process, and technology. With this programme, NMIT is leading the charge offering a focus on embedded essential employable skills including, advanced communication and collaboration skills, intellectual analysis and critical thinking.
Graduates will find career opportunities in a wide variety of sectors including the public, private and not for profit sectors. This includes extended managerial responsibilities and leadership roles, such as Executive or Directorships.
