How to apply

Entry requirements for Oklahoma State University

Admission requirements for the Master of Agriculture degree in Agriculture with an option in Agricultural Leadership are similar to those for the Master of Science degree programs. No standardized test scores are required. Admission to the Master of Agriculture degree program requires the following:

  A bachelor's degree in an appropriate field such as agricultural education or an agriculturally related area from an accredited university,

  An acceptable grade point average in undergraduate studies (a minimum GPA of 2.80 or 3.0 in the last 30 hours for unqualified admission),

  Recommendations from three people knowledgeable of the applicant's professional qualifications

  A statement of purpose for pursuing the master’s degree.

  Applicants for whom English is a second language are required to demonstrate an acceptable level of spoken English usually by submitting a TOEFL or IELTS score. TOEFL score of 79 (internet based test) 550 (paper based test) is required. Alternatively, an official IELTS, academic stream, examination with a minimum overall band score of 6.5 will satisfy the English proficiency requirements for admission to a graduate program.
