About the course

The prestigious Master of Accounting will enable you to obtain a university qualification that satisfies the accreditation requirements to commence the professional papers offered by CPA Australia, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). In addition, you?ll complete advanced units in financial and management accounting, management control systems, information systems, business ethics and taxation to prepare you for a wide range of accounting roles.

　　The interdisciplinary Master of Data Science will provide you with the technical skills to work in data science across a variety of industries. It emphasises concepts, insights and skills that will enable you to use current technologies and adapt to and create new technologies. You?ll be able to process and analyse data sets, use mathematical and statistical modelling techniques, machine learning and data mining to solve challenging problems, and communicate your findings to different audiences. How to apply

Entry requirements for Macquarie University

In general, entry requires a Bachelor degree from a recognised institution considered equivalent to an Australian bachelor degree (Level 7 on the Australian Qualifications Framework). Some courses may require previous study or work experience in a related area, a higher level qualification such as an Honours Bachelor (AQF Level 8), or other additional entry criteria that must be satisfied.

　　Master of Accounting

　　AQF level 7 bachelor's qualification in a related field or recognised equivalent, or

　　AQF level 7 bachelor's qualification or recognised equivalent, and minimum two years relevant approved work experience, professional certification or other recognised prior learning.

　　Master of Data Science

　　AQF level 8 bachelor honours or graduate diploma qualification in Data Science

　　AQF level 7 bachelor in Data Science and a WAM of +65
