This Translation and Localisation Master's combines practical training and theory. You'll be equipped with the skills and knowledge to build a career in the translation and localisation industry.Our Translation and Localisation MA will enable you to gain industry-relevant skills and critical academic knowledge in linguistic practices and project management of localisation, as well as translation and audio-visual translation (AVT).

How to apply

Entry requirements for Newcastle University

Normally a 2:1 honours degree, or international equivalent.

　　If your first language is not English you need IELTS 7.0, with a minimum of 6.5 in speaking and writing and 6.0 in listening and reading. This qualification must be no more than three years old when you start the course. No other English language qualifications are accepted.
