About the course

We’ve designed our TESOL course for people in the UK, Europe and beyond who are interested in teaching English as a second or foreign language. How to apply

Entry requirements for Edge Hill University

You should have a degree equivalent to UK first-class or second-class honours (2:2 or above). No specific subjects are required.

  Applications are welcome from both experienced teachers and newly graduated students who are motivated and interested in teaching English as a foreign language.

  IELTS Academic - Overall 6.5 with no element below 6.0

  Test of English as a Foreign Language (iBT) - Overall score of 90 or above with minimum elements of listening 23, reading 23, speaking 22 and writing 26
