  This course is for you if (1) you want to advance your knowledge about both practical applications of linguistics and theoretical aspects, or (2) you want to learn more about language learning and teaching. With our expert insights into the world of linguistics and second language teaching, you’ll learn how theories about language can be applied in specialised contexts, such as education, business, media and communication.

How to apply

Entry requirements for Lancaster University

2:1 (Hons) degree (UK) or equivalent in a language/linguistics-related degree or one with a number of language/linguistics related subjects. IELTS: Overall score of at least 6.5, with at least 6.5 in reading and writing and 6.0 in listening and speaking. TOEFL iBT -Yes - 93 Minimum of 20 or 22 in each skill.
