About the course

This course is designed for both aspiring managers and people currently employed in business or management. The program will provide you with the understanding, knowledge and skills necessary to explain and discuss essential principles and practices of business. These are delivered through the core subjects in business and management.

　　The core curriculum develops your understanding and ability to interpret financial statements and marketing plans, analyse markets, read audit reports and develop business plans. Knowing how to read financial statements is important during the evaluation of a vendor's financial standing. Knowing how to interpret marketing plans and conduct a market analyse will help you identify a vendor's strengths and overall strategies. How to apply

Entry requirements for Holmes Institute

To be eligible for admission applicants must have: Successfully completed a Bachelor degree offered by an accredited institution of higher education in Australia, OR Successfully completed a degree offered by an accredited institution of higher education in their country of origin that is deemed equivalent to a Bachelor degree according to assessment by Australian Education International (AEI) - through the National Office of Overseas Skills Recognition (AEI-NOOSR). Demonstrated English proficiency an IELTS score of 6 or equivalent. Applicants who do not fulfil the educational requirements above may be considered eligible for

　　admission if they have: A significant work record or demonstrated record of professional practice AND Information on courses completed or attempted (with results of study undertaken) AND A personal resume with a detailed work history including referees AND A portfolio of supporting documentation.
