About the course

The graduate certificate program in special education administration is designed to provide the knowledge and expertise needed to lead your school, district and state in the education of students with disabilities in K-12 school settings. As a graduate of the program, you'll be eligible for New Hampshire special education administrator certification. The program promotes high quality education and leadership through professional learning, strong partnerships and the pursuit of solutions to complex challenges situated within an increasingly diverse educational community in New Hampshire.

　　Designed to meet the needs of working educators, this post-master?s graduate certificate program is both flexible and convenient, allowing you to earn your degree at a pace that best fits your schedule. Many courses are offered online or at convenient times at our Durham or Manchester campuses. You can start the program in the fall, spring or summer semesters. The program is designed for students who currently hold a master?s degree in special education, educational administration or a ly related field. Educator licensure in special education and a minimum of five years of teaching experience is required special education administration license.
