Tubists at Lamont study with celebrated performers and pedagogues Kathleen Brantigan and Warren Deck. Professor Brantigan has performed internationally as a soloist and is a founding member of the Denver Brass. Professor Deck was the principal tubist for the New York Philharmonic from 1979–2001 and has recorded with the Canadian Brass on Sony Classical and Philips labels as well as for EMI Angel Records.
