About the course
Students who complete the Certificate of Graduate Study in Instructional Design have the knowledge and skills required of an effective instructional design specialist who can serve in higher education, kindergarten-12, business, industry, government, military,or healthcare. Competencies designed into the program focus on design, development, utilization, management, and evaluation of education, instruction, and training activities that meet the Association for Educational Communications and Technology standards. The Certificate of Graduate Study in Instructional Design is a project-based program. Students gain knowledge and skills in instructional design through experiential learning.
