About the course
The purpose of the geoenvironmental certificate program is to: Prepare graduates for careers related to geoenvironmental engineering, Promote interdisciplinary educational experiences in geoenvironmental engineering and Enhance interactions among faculty and students in the allied science and engineering disciplines related to geoenvironmental engineering. Consistent with the other certificate programs established by the Graduate School, this certificate program requires 12 credit hours of coursework. It includes nine credit hours from three required courses and three credit hours of elective chosen from a list of approved courses. Entry requirements for Kansas State University
A bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited by the cognizant regional accrediting agency,
Undergraduate preparation in the proposed major field equivalent to that acquired by a graduate of Kansas State University, or evidence of an appropriate background for undertaking an advanced degree program
Cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale or GPA of 3.0 in the last 60 hours of coursework.
