About the course

　　In the coming decade, Artificial Intelligence (AI) will drive digital transformation of almost all industry sectors. Its impact on our daily life is increasing rapidly. Many companies and government departments are looking to increase AI expertise within their workforce, but the skills shortage has become a global challenge.

　　World-class academics who are active in advanced AI research will provide you with examples of modern AI technologies and show you how they can be applied to provide innovative solutions to real world problems. Guest lecturers from the AI industry will also discuss their experiences of the latest developments and applications of AI in industry.

　　On successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

　　Critically review AI applications and state of art development,

　　Disaggregate and appraise key components in typical AI application architectures,

　　Design and implement AI applications in a systematic approach, and
