The multidisciplinary food science graduate degree program several areas of specialization in which to work. Earning a doctorate degree in food science can open doors of opportunity to a career in today's vibrant and rapidly growing food industry. The food science graduate program relies on the food science expertise of faculty from several participating departments to create a course of study that may be custom tailored to fit specific career goals. How to apply

Entry requirements for Oklahoma State University

One original transcript from each college or university attended (all transcripts must be official with the college's or registrar's original seal and should show any degrees completed) For admission without qualification, a GPA of at least 3.00 on a 4.00 scale or the equivalent is expected in undergraduate coursework or a 3.00 in any graduate or professional coursework already completed. The graduate program you are applying to may require two to four letters of recommendation. Please contact references prior to beginning your application and obtain their current and preferred email address. Correct entry of email addresses for your references is required for completing and submitting your application, Please prepare a document file for each item (transcripts, statements of purpose, etc.) that will be uploaded to complete your application

　　Applicants for whom English is a second language are required to demonstrate an acceptable level of spoken English usually by submitting a TOEFL or IELTS score. TOEFL score of 79 (internet based test) 550 (paper based test) is required. Alternatively, an official IELTS, academic stream, examination with a minimum overall band score of 6.5 will satisfy the English proficiency requirements for admission to a graduate program.
