About the course

This interdisciplinary program draws on expertise from the department's core faculty, as well as faculty from across the university. In addition to Environmental Science and Policy faculty, students learn from faculty in the Department of Biology, the Department of Atmospheric, Oceanic and Earth Sciences, the School of Systems Biology, the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, the Department of Economics, the Department of Geography and Geoinformation Science, and the Department of Sociology and Anthropology, as well as the Schar School of Policy and Government, the School of Integrative Studies, the Volgenau School of Engineering, and the College of Education and Human Development in addition to others. How to apply

Entry requirements for George Mason University - INTO USA

Transcripts from previous university coursework including degrees awarded.

　　Three letters of recommendation with at least two from individuals with doctorates.

　　Applicants should also have a bachelor's degree with an overall GPA of at least 3.00. They should have taken at least two semesters of chemistry and three semesters of biology, including a course in ecology.

　　Applicants to the PhD program should also have an advanced degree (e.g. MA, MS, veterinary, or law) in a relevant field.

　　You must have earned a 3.00 GPA on a 4.00 scale or better in your baccalaureate study.
