To be considered for admission in full graduate standing, applicants must have:
(a) a four-year bachelor?s degree (or equivalent) from a regionally accredited college or university. Exceptions to standard accreditation may be granted for applicants with international degrees, including applicants with three-year degrees from institutions in Europe participating in the Bologna Process.
(b) a GPA of at least 3.00 (on a 4.00 scale) in their undergraduate degrees.
Students are expected to have a background in biology and to have taken appropriate courses in the physical sciences, e.g. chemistry, biochemistry, mathematics, and physics. Students will need to make up deficiencies at the discretion of their graduate advisory committee. Students are typically required to have a ?B? average (3.0 GPA) in biology courses and an overall 3.0 GPA during the last two years of their undergraduate programs.
GRE- A minimum score of 306 (1000 under the old scoring system) is required for admission to the entomology Ph.D. program.
