About the course

The Ecology group includes faculty with expertise in population biology, community biology, conservation, oceanography, and tropical ecology. Faculty currently conduct research at local fields sites in North Carolina, as well as in Belize, Gal?pagos, Peru, the Rocky Mountains, and Tanzania.

　　The Wake Forest University Ph.D. in Biology allows students to pursue exciting research in a wide range of disciplines across the biological sciences. Our program emphasizes building strong conceptual foundations, innovative research training and opportunities, and professional skills to succeed in a range of individual career goals.
