About the course

The Ph.D. in Agricultural Leadership, Education and Communications is a campus-based, research-oriented doctoral degree program. This specialized degree provides a wide range of educational and research experiences designed specifically to train scholars equipped to address complex issues relating to the food, agriculture, natural resources and human sciences. Students will graduate with a strong theoretical foundation and advanced research skillset necessary for careers in the public or private sector.

Entry requirements for Texas A and M University - College Station

Official transcripts: Transcripts must be submitted from each higher education institution previously attended

　　Official TOEFL or IELTS scores: Applicants whose native language is not English are required to submit proof of English proficiency to be eligible for review. English proficiency can be demonstrated by one of the criteria below.

　　a minimum TOEFL score (from a test date within two years) of: 550 for paper-based testing (p-BT) or 80 internet-based testing (i-BT), or:

　　a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 overall,

　　a minimum PTE Academic score of 53,

　　a GRE Verbal Reasoning score of at least 146

　　A one-page minimum statement of intent and professional career goals

　　Five (5) Recommendation letters for Doctorate.

　　A professional portfolio of at least two writing samples to demonstrate writing proficiency

　　A minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) for doctoral must be 3.5 in master’s program
