About the course

The personal attention of a small program, backed by the resources of a large university – that’s what a Northeastern PharmD degree offers students. Our signature cooperative education model (co-op) provides students unmatched opportunities for innovative and interactive learning at more than 120 affiliated hospitals, clinics, community pharmacies, private companies, and government agencies. The placements are paid, full-time positions that provide students with the professional experience and contacts they need to launch their careers. The School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences offers the Doctor of Pharmacy degree (PharmD). The direct-entry admission pathway for this program requires that students complete a BS or BA from an accredited institution with a preferred prerequisite grade-point average of 3.000.
