About the course
The PharmD is a professional degree requiring four years of study after completion of a pre-pharmacy curriculum. Graduates will have the necessary skills to pursue licensure to practice pharmacy. With this licensure graduates may choose to pursue many different paths – the UM program is broad enough to offer extensive opportunities that lead to careers in health systems, community pharmacy, pharmaceutical companies, government and other public sector jobs, as well as careers in the academic world. Entry requirements for University of Michigan - Ann Arbor
TOEFL ibt: 84, TOEFL Paper/Pencil TOEFL and TWE (For tests taken prior to July 2017): 560 and Revised Paper Delivered Test (For tests taken July 2017 or later) An overall score is not provided for this test. Minimum section scores: Reading = 23, Listening = 23, Writing = 21. IELTS: 6.5. Applicants complete a bachelor?s degree from a U.S. college or university accredited by a regional accrediting association, or complete an international degree that is equivalent to a U.S. bachelor?s degree from a college or university recognized and approved by the Ministry of Education or Commission responsible for higher education in the country where the degree is earned.
The PCAT is required, test results are valid for two years. To be considered for Fall Term 2020 applicants should take the PCAT prior to 2020, tests taken earlier than 2017 are not acceptable.
