About the course

Our zero-6 PharmD program stresses critical thinking, active learning, and clinical experience to prepare you for practice in a variety of professional settings. The clinical portion of the program provides you with hands-on experience in hospitals, nursing homes, community pharmacies, government institutions, home healthcare settings, pharmacy benefits management companies, and other industries. How to apply

Entry requirements for University of Rhode Island

Before you apply to a URI graduate program, you must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in the United States or the equivalent of a four-year degree at an international university that is evaluated by an approved agency. Most four-year degrees from accredited non-U.S. institutions are recognized as equivalent, but three-year bachelor’s degree programs from universities in India and some other Asian countries are not. An overall score of 80 or above, Minimum scores in the following areas: Reading: 20, Writing: 22, Listening: 17, Speaking: 17 (the suggested minimum speaking score for international teaching assistants is 23). The minimum score on the Paper-based TOEFL is 550. IELTS: Required minimum score of 6.5.
