About the course

The UCI Pharm.D. program is a four-year professional degree program that will prepare graduates to be practice-ready pharmacists who are problem solvers, independent lifelong learners, team players, and leaders who will drive transformative changes in the healthcare system. The curriculum will be taught by faculty from the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Department of Clinical Pharmacy Practice and delivered using innovative instructional methods and applying evidenced based practices. The Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) is a professional degree leading to pharmacist careers in hospitals, outpatient ambulatory care settings, community pharmacies, nursing homes, managed care, academia, research, industry, government agencies, and other pharmacy practice settings. How to apply

Entry requirements for University of California - Irvine

Hold a bachelor?s degree (or equivalent) from a recognized academic institution with degree standards equivalent to those of the University of California

　　Have a minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0

　　A minimum grade of a C is required.

　　Three letters of recommendation

　　TOEFL iBT minimum score of 80
