All DMA programs consist of performance requirements (lessons, two recitals, one lecture recital), and coursework in the following areas: performance preparation, historical perspective, and a cognate field. Further requirements: comprehensive examinations in music theory, music history, and the major area, and a final scholarly document. Obtaining a bachelor’s or master’s degree (3.2 minimum GPA) from an English-speaking university, or a passing score of level 112 at an English Language School (ELS). For IELTS an overall band score of 6.5, TOEFL- 90 (internet-based test), TOEFL- 577 (paper-based test).TOEFL- 233 (computer-based test).
