About the course

The Doctor of Engineering degree is a professional degree with an emphasis on problem solving at the highest levels of the engineering profession. Because these problems frequently have a non-techincal societal impact, and because technological advances are implemented through business and industry, the Doctor of Engineering program seeks to couple an understanding of the characteristics of social and business institutions with competence in solving engineering problems. Each student must pass the Doctor of Engineering Qualifying Examination. After the course work is essentially completed, you must spend a minimum of one year working under the supervision of a practicing engineering in industry, business or government. Entry requirements for Texas A and M University - College Station

　　You will be required to pay the Texas A&M University application fee.

　　You will also be required to pay the EngineeringCAS processing fee.

　　Approved major professor

　　Submit transcripts from all colleges or universities attended.  Official transcripts are required from each post-secondary university or college attended. An official statement of the award of the degree or diploma is required for each degree completed. College work from one institution posted on the transcript of another institution will not be accepted.

　　GRE Verbal Reasoning score of at least 146 (Subject to departmental approval), a GMAT Verbal Score of at least 22 (Subject to departmental approval).

　　Completing all years of a Bachelor's degree or higher at a U.S. accredited university. (Subject to departmental approval).

　　TOEFL - 550 for paper-based testing (p-BT) or 80 internet-based testing (i-BT). A minimum IELTS score of 6.0 overall band.
