Begin your university journey with this supportive, foundational course that equips you to pursue a bachelor?s degree. Successful completion of this one-year Diploma means you will be eligible to continue your studies with a Bachelor of Tourism, Hospitality and Events.

　　Build skills in professional and academic communication, digital literacy and leadership as you explore key industry issues such as sustainability, resilience and change management. You'll consider foundational research and strategies within this diverse and exciting field. Develop an understanding of human behaviour and decision-making, as you learn to identify and draw upon factors that influence consumer choice.

Work collaboratively with your peers, as well as on individual projects. 　　Successful graduates of the Diploma of Tourism, Hospitality and Events can transition into a Bachelor of Tourism, Hospitality and Events, and may meet the entry requirements for other JCU degrees. Some subjects may be eligible to count as credit for this purpose.
