About the course

Studying Diploma in Information Technology at the QUT International College will fast-track your entry into the second year of QUT's Bachelor of Information Technology and Bachelor of Games and Interactive Environments. You will develop academic skills which will help you become more confident with your university studies and dramatically improve your English skills, all while enjoying a complete university experience. Successful graduates will be guaranteed entry into QUT’s Bachelor of Information Technology or Bachelor of Games and Interactive Environments. You will learn through university style lectures, tutorials and workshops with a focus on the development of independent learning skills. Smaller class sizes mean you get more individual attention from your teachers. Complete in 8 months full-time. 12-month Diploma option available for February entry.

　　The Diploma in Information Technology (IT) is equivalent to the first year QUT’s Bachelor of Information Technology (IN01) and Bachelor of Games and Interactive Environments (IN05). On completion of the Diploma with the required results, you are guaranteed a place in the second year of your chosen degree program. This premium pathway provides an introduction to building and applying innovative IT solutions across diverse industries, and provides additional academic and language support, preparing you for successful study in the QUT Science and Engineering Faculty.
