How to apply

Entry requirements for North Island College

C in English 12 or equivalent

　　One of:

　　C in English Studies 12

　　C in English First Peoples 12

　　C in Provincial English 12 (1984-2019)

　　C in English 12 (prior to 1984)

　　C in NIC ENG 096

　　C in NIC ENG 098

　　C+ in NIC ESL 092 and ESL 095

　　Completion of ENG 104 or any other University level English course

　　Successful English assessment

　　or IELTS 6.0 or equivalent with band scores of 6.0 in Writing/Reading/Listening/Speaking.

　　A signed Requisite Skills and Abilities (RSA) document. The RSA document describes the requirements for practice in early childhood care and education. Prospective students need to review these and decide whether they believe they are able to meet them. Should you have concerns about being able to meet the RSA?s, please contact the ECCE Department Chair

　　Academic IELTS overall score of 6.0 (no band lower than 5.5).

　　TOEFL ibt 80 overall with no subsection less than 19

　　TOEFL PBT 550
