If you are interested in and passionate about the natural world, a Diploma in Arts (Environmental Studies) is a good place to begin. You’ll explore people's relationships with the environment through different disciplines. Environmental studies is concerned with human society in its physical setting. It examines the relationships between natural, social and built environments. Environmental studies is a broad topic that explores diverse and complex environmental issues from a range of perspectives - scientific, social, cultural and economic. With society becoming more environmentally aware, careers in this area are growing.
