This course aims to develop the skills and knowledge required for teaching English to non-English speaking learners in a variety of contexts, both in Australia and overseas. It is designed for- People who are qualified teachers in their own countries but who wish to obtain a qualification in modern, communicative teaching techniques, focusing on the teaching of oral English, People who are not qualified teachers but who wish to work as teaching assistants or otherwise in their own countries, People who wish to teach in ELICOS colleges in Australia or EFL (English as a Foreign Language) overseas.
