The Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Building) equips you with the essential skills to effectively oversee both small residential and commercial construction projects. Tailored for individuals aspiring to embark on a rewarding journey in the construction field or those seeking a career change or workforce re-entry. You will also learn safety, contracts, structural principles and materials, estimating and quality management

　　The strength of the program lies in its flexibility to adapt content to cover residential, industrial and commercial low rise construction with special attention to current industry practices and processes. Upon completion, students can expect to have the knowledge and skills required of a builder, site manager, foreman on a residential project or low rise commercial project.

　　This qualification is acceptable to the Victorian Building Authority (VBA) for registration in some of the classifications for Domestic Builder Limited (DB-L).
