In the RMIT Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping, based in Melbourne, you will learn how to: work effectively in the accounting and bookkeeping industry establish, operate and maintain a computerised accounting system for small business entities, recording day-to-day business transactions and producing financial reports for decision-making perform financial calculations and write simple business documents design and construct spreadsheets and apply their use to produce a variety of operating budgets determine employee entitlements and make payments of wages and salaries calculate GST and prepare business activity statements (BAS) apply a knowledge of our legal and regulatory environment to your work in this industry. You will undertake structured learning activities and authentic assessments within a simulated business environment, designed to replicate real-world work experiences.?
