About the course
Gain marketing and business knowledge that can be applied to any industry with the Certificate in Marketing program. You?ll develop skills in customer relations, selling, advertising, marketing research and management, and be qualified for entry-level marketing positions in a variety of businesses. Learn how to devise marketing strategies, do market research and design promotional campaigns. Understand a variety of marketing techniques and know how to apply them to the latest trends in e-marketing, customer relationship management and corporate social responsibility.
Get valuable work experience through the Business Internship program
In the Business Internship Program, you?ll apply the theory and knowledge you?ve learned in class into a real-world business setting. During your unpaid part-time internship, you?ll be assigned tasks and projects that junior management, marketing, business, administrative and/or sales employees complete in the modern workplace.

How to apply
Entry requirements for Douglas College
High school graduation OR minimum 17 years of age by the end of the first month of studies in the semester of entry to Douglas College, and Minimum overall grade average of 60%. International Baccalaureate (IB) English Language A – Standard Level :- Minimum grade of 3 or C. IELTS (Academic Module):- Overall score of 6.5, TOEFL iBT:- Overall score of 83.
