About the course

The four year certificate program provides students with a disciplined approach to the study of Illustration. Student portfolios will demonstrate the variety of skills and creativity developed. Graduates enter the field prepared for professional opportunities in Illustration. Students take electives and art history courses to round out their experience. How to apply

Entry requirements for Academy of Art University

Official high school transcripts and diploma. College transcripts (if applicable) must show the classes/subject, grades, credits, and number of hours completed for each class. You may submit your application for admission before taking the test. More information is available online for TOEFL and for IELTS. While we do not require these scores and do not have a minimum score requirement, you will be evaluated for English language proficiency upon arrival at Academy of Art University.
