About the course
This certificate is designed to prepare students to meet needs to manage industrial/manufacturing facilities in the industry. Through this certificate, students will obtain fundamental knowledge in design, maintenance, and management of industrial/manufacturing facilities, projects, and operations. The mission of the Department of Engineering Technology is to offer engaged learning programs that promote strong partnerships with industry and foster a synergetic, interactive relationship between faculty and students. The Department of Engineering Technology is committed to provide our students with an industry-focused technical education that emphasizes theoretical and applications-oriented approaches to problem solving. How to apply
Entry requirements for Northern Illinois University
IELTS: Minimum required overall band score of 6.0. TOEFL: 71 on an Internet-based test, 527 on a paper-based test. The ACT or SAT is required for international freshmen applicants from U.S. high schools. High School Diploma: You must have graduated by the time you start at NIU in order to be admitted. Grades: You must have passing grades equivalent to a U.S. C plus average on all transcripts and/or exam scores.
