About the course

In this 18-credit certificate, students learn microeconomic and macroeconomic principles and apply them to areas such as financial, international, and labor markets. The certificate is designed for students whose goal is to apply economic ideas and theories to answer questions in a wide range of fields and professions such as the government, education, non-profit and banking sectors. Applying economic ideas in a professional setting does not require a rigorous theoretical or quantitative component. How to apply

Entry requirements for Valparaiso University

Submit official transcripts with both original and English translations of all university courses in which you have been enrolled.

　　Once you give the envelope to the Graduate Admissions Office, we will open the envelope, verify the official transcripts, scan them into your profile, and contact the registrar office notifying them we received your official transcripts.

　　6.0 minimum IELTS.

　　75 minimum TOEFL internet-based

　　780 minimum TOEIC

　　110 minimum Duolingo (the TESOL, ESC, MSN and DNP programs at Valpo do not accept Duolingo at this time)

　　56 minimum PTE
